Syrian Youth Initiative Program
The Syrian Youth initiative Program was funded by DT in 2018 and implemented in north of Syria (Idleb & Aleppo country side) between March, 2018 and November, 2018 through a set of four (4) strategically-integrated, grant-funded projects which jointly aim to empower and enhance skills of youth — young women and men– to take the role of influential and effective agents of positive change in their communities and in Syrian society. In addition to that, the aim of this fund was to support and coordinate efforts of Syrian Youth Initiative Program to enhance effective participation of young people in decision making and in countering violent extremism in selected communities in Syria and will consolidate Shaml Coalition as an effective alliance of civil society organizations and establish it as a leader in enhancing role and power of Syrian youth in community affairs.
